I have had "stick a finger in her" in my Bio for a year now and all of a sudden I am suspended for a day? I have had Live for 6 years and never had a problem and I would gladly remove what is in the Bio as I can see why they want me to but I can not get online to do so. This is shit IMO. I have paid over 300 dollars over the years and they can not cut me a break once? Or even let me fix the problem. What a bad customer service.

That sucks but at least they didn't cancel your account.

Reminded me of this:
http://kotaku.com/5803972/what-can-we-all-learn-from-the-xbox-live-banning-of-pound-her-stank
Xbox Live technical support will be extra busy over the course of this week and the next as a new software update rolls out, bringing sweeping bans to those with modified consoles. But one fresh account banning from this week is more educational than the rest.

An Xbox Live member with the gamertag "pound her stank" found himself permanently suspended from the service after what he argued was three years of good standing membership. His plea:

"my xbox account was permanently suspended due to my gamertag. shouldn't this be temporarly suspended? i've been a member for 3 years and a lot of downloads and xbox live points attached to this account. i dont want to start all over again. is there a way to request lesser suspension? my account gamertag was "pound her stank". i would change my gamertag to get my account back."

Seems like a reasonable request. What say you, Xbox Live Policy and Enforcement Team?

"While we apologize for the inconvenience, we made the decision to permanently suspend the account due to the excessive number of forced name changes due to Code of Conduct violations that have occurred over the life of the account. We felt that giving you 34 chances to create a gamertag that did not violate the aforementioned document should have been more than enough of an opportunity to turn a new leaf."

That's right. After an impressive 34 gamertag changes, none of which appear to abide Xbox Live's Code of Conduct, you can be banned. Now you know!

Quitcherbitchen. All it takes is one person to whine it's offensive, and your toast. Don't blame LIVE, blame the lil 6 year old that bitched. Or, the teenager you mouthed off to on the mic, OR the multiplayer game you totally sucked ass on.

You are suspended for ONE DAY!

Get over it. Unless you just cannot go one day without playing. It's not that bad of a deal. I am sure it'll work out alright in the end.

It wasn't the time lol I can clearly not play for a day. Just the fact that there customer support could do nothing for me is what made me mad.

You broke the terms of use and their policy is a one day suspension apparently for the first time. What would you have them do?

They said he modified the achievement score had nothing to do with him being good or bad at games. Sucks because the kid was autistic but they don't just randomly throw out bans because your "too good" at the game. Not how it works at all.

Just as a courtesy either warn me or let me admit I was wrong and fix the issue at hand.

I searched for more on this and what happened was the kid gave someone else his password so they could get him recon in Halo 3. The way the people did it was by cheating, in the end the kid probally didn't know it was cheating but it is still cheating so he got hit. I feel bad for the kid but this one isn't Microsofts fault.

I agree but the problem is that it's difficult to make an automated system that does that. ("Don't use an automated system" you may say, which would be hard to do with the scale of XBL and probably really expensive).

They told me to post on the forums when I called and then I got an email saying they do not respond to 24 hour suspensions so they removed my post. They they said someone can call me from the department that handles the suspensions but I can not call them and it might take up to 24 hours which would be the end of my suspension anyway haha.

Yeah. Might as well have them call anyway because maybe you can get some sympathy Microsoft points or the day credited to your account if you explain that you would gladly have removed it and were unaware it was against the TOU. Worth a shot.
