So what is everyone's take on the Republican candidates for 2012 so far? Someone can move this to the political forum. I'm not fooling around with having to get the topic approved.

Since this is going to get moved and since I don't venture into the politics forum very often, I'll comment now. I think that their best candidate, Mike Huckabee, just dropped out. I honestly don't think they stand a chance at this point because they don't have a single candidate strong enough to win the general election.

I like what you just did there. Started a political thread in the Serious Business Forum, thus circumventing the political forum Czar!! (Excellent)

You really feel that Huckabee was the strongest candidate?

I think most candidates are waiting until 2016 when the Dems won't have an incumbant president to put up.

He won't. I can remember people complaining about his age during the 08 campaign.

One of the guys I like so far is Herman Cain. He probably has little chance to actually win but I like a lot of what he says.

I think Ron Paul is the strongest, but the media shuns him. That alone killed him in '08. The only way anyone knew of him was word-of-mouth.
