I'm considering it. She just said that homeless people survive without money. Perhaps she doesn't understand that a homeless person receives charity from others because those others BOUGHT or EARNED the food or money they're giving said homeless person. And the "goverment" (yes, she spelled it that way) only receives the funds because it taxes people who are making money.

I asked my friend how he stands her, and even HE agrees that she's a dunce. But apparently, she's really hot.

This girl's vote will carry just as much weight as your own. That should terrify everyone in this country.

But aksing for ID's is profiling and racist. For more chuckles, recall petitions in Wisc for Scott Walker included names like Spiderman, Adolph Hitler, and Mickey Mouse. They were challenged and allowed to stand as long as they had valid addresses.

Can someone please explain why 2 of the first 3 "Republican" primaries are open to Democrats and Independents? Even in Iowa, non-Republicans could come and register immediately before voting. And these first few states set the stage for what most of us get to choose from this point forward. Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems odd that so much weight is attached to a few primaries which are open to non-Republican voters.

Short answer: it opens up the primary to all voters, since in many jurisdictions the incumbent is unopposed or not seriously opposed.

Longer answer (well, not really): it was a strategy to open up both (cough) parties to the people. The southeast U.S. used to be heavily DEM based, now it is mostly GOP based....the open primaries allowed the GOP to provide a candidate early in the election process.

According to Ron Pauls facebook page, his son Rand is being detained by the tsa in nashville. Tsa couldnt have picked a better person to detain lol. Epic fail .

Apparently he set off the scanner due to an anomoly and asked to be scanned again and they refused and wanted to pat him down instead.

What is this "Constitution" you speak of? :o

He's not being arrested.

Look, I get that the TSA blows...but if he's in front of Fish in line and holding things up with his little protest, he's getting bitchslapped as I walk by.

They cant be questioned at any other place unless treason or felony. So being detained is unconstitutional since he did neither.

Nice to see a politician walk the walk.

Most Americans really do not care if the Constitution is violated as long as it does not directly affect them.

As it turns out, he wasn't detained/questioned or otherwise jackbooted in an way. He was escorted from the screening area and denied access to the gate area. The Constitution is safe for another day. ;)

The clear inference from Paul's COS was that he was "detained," i.e. held and/or questioned. I was merely clarifying that in reference to pmoney's claim of a Consititutional violation.
