Defense can't help out the struggling pitcher. Brantley says they were checking out the ligament in the index finger on White.

LOL. I just noticed the thread Justin started about the battle of Ohio. It says, "The official Reds Vs Indians thread." We need to step it up and have more posts on this thread, even though many of us have posted over there too. (I guess this thread isnt official).

My mistake, the middle finger is the problem. The Indians statement said White was taken out due to right middle finger soreness. Brantley thinks it is a torn tendon sheath.

Here's a fact: Whatever the outcome is tonight, the Tribe will still have the biggest lead (by far) in all of MLB divisions FOR FIRST PLACE!! And it feels so good to type that on May 20.
