"a few of you guys giving us shit" has nothing to do with the end of the world comments...I didn't want you guys giving us shit because I KNEW some Reds fans would take it the wrong way and the thread would then be about some stupid ass arguing rather than the game. I've read some of your guys' Indians threads, there is really good conversation in it. Would you want me to come onto everyone and talk shit? No, because it's just stupid and is Capone'esque.

The end of the world comment was made by, I think September, and maybe someone else, claiming the Reds are no good this year. I really don't care, I was just pointing out that a couple games in May is not going to change mine or any other Reds' fans opinion of this season. We have almost the exact same roster as last year, a very good farm system, and experienced players...they will be in the Central race til the very end and should win it when it's all said and done. 3 games in May will not change that opinion.

They fail to. If they get taht 5th run in, and maybe even more, this game is won and the reds take at least 2 of three. That was devastating to the Redlegs and the start of the end for this season.
