Not surprised.
Steelers logo just one one side makes it unique as well as looking pretty darned cool.
Stelers had gold helmets back in the day and when they decided to use that logo they didnt know how it would look on the all gold helmet so they decided to put it on one side to see how it went. They had their best season on record that year and decided to keep it on one side. they then changed the helmet to black and we have that how it is today.

What a fucking joke. Just shows the ESPN writers have ZERO credibility.

The best helmet of all time? The old Houston Oilers.

Are you referring to the helmets from the late 70's, 80's or 90s, or are you going further back to the powder blue helmet? I like the white.
If we are going retro, I like the old Patriots helmet (circa 1980'). As someone else mentioned the Chargers helmets are sharp (white helmet, lightening bolt and numbers on the side).

I like the powder blue Oiler helmets, once they added the outline. I actually thought the Chargers helmet that was dark blue with the yellow bolt was their best. Also always liked the Falcons red helmets. Never really been a fan of white helmets, but my favorite of those is probably the former Buccaneers helmet (might have just been those ridiculous orange jerseys that highlighted them).
My tastes for current helmets makes my list: Cowboys-Saints-Bengals-Raiders-Steelers-Falcons-Seahawks-Eagles-Vikings-Rams.

Some pretty boring ass helmets in the top 10.
The Browns, Cowboys, and Vikings pretty much all got on there just for tradition.

How are the Browns on here? This totally discredits the butterface expression "That chick is a Cleveland Brown -- the uniform is great but the helmet is TERRIBLE." haha

Old white Pats helmets, old Bucs helmets, old red ATL hats were all sick. Seems like in sports anytime someone has something original looking they feel the need to change it to something less. So lame.
