Former Michigan quarterback Tate Forcier won't be joining the Hurricanes as many had expected because of personal reasons, according to a source familiar with the situation.

This will leave Miami with two scholarship quarterbacks on its roster as of Jan. 1 2012: Stephen Morris and recent transfer Ryan Williams.

This also leaves the door open for Miami coach Al Golden to hit a home run in this year's recruiting class with quarterbacks. Improving the depth at the position will be critical, as most FBS programs at Miami's level have five or six, but from a recruit's perspective, it's a chance to make an immediate impact and compete to be Miami's quarterback of the future.
Surprise!!!!!

Remember when he thought he was a front runner for the heisman. Good times.

Miami is too far and he wants his parents to be able to afford to go to his games. So Auburn seems like a good choice.

Montana? He and Montana on the same depth chart would be pretty funny.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Police in Grand Rapids, Mich., say a woman called them because she was concerned that former Michigan quarterback Tate Forcier was going to jump from her apartment window.

An officer was able to get Forcier to open the door and "no police action was taken."

NO shit sunshine. I tried to tell you this for 2 years. You finally come around now???? It's a genetic thing. Any father that would hire the Marinovich family as personal coaches and trainers for his son is one sick individual.

The guy just wants to play QB at a school where he doesn't have to compete for a starting role. It's really that simple.
