Anyone out there have the latest savings book or whatever flyer that happens to contain the sweet $9.99 torque wrench coupon?

if you need a torque wrench, DO NOT USE ONE OF THESE.

Rent one instead. The extra 20.00 you spend will save you hundreds, if not thousnds of dollars.

And just because I have to type something insulting.... You are ghey.

I bought one pair of pliers there, and they have actually lasted for years. Not sure I would invest in any power tools from that joint. Same is probably true for this torque wrench set you are eyeballing, you seem like the type of guy who will buy it, use it once, realize while using it your hands can get dirty and never touch it again.

Leave the tool buying discussion to the grown ups.

They are throw away tools for sure but that is why I like them. I don't need to use them often so it's not worth investing in pricier tools. Also, the torque wrench is only for tightening up the oil drain plug on my motorcycle so this torque wrench will work just fine.

Oh I forgot you are a biker now. My apologies. In that case your toque wrench better come from a swap meet not a tool store by the mall

But you can buy 50 of them for the price of just one at a Lowe's or Home Depot. Surely 1 of those 50 have to be decent?

Indeed. I've never had an issue with anything I've ever bought there.
