Why aren't Winn and the Orange team making their way over for this one? Looks very competitive.

There are not enough points in the schedule to do another tournament in December.
Orange has already done the Lee Spitzer tournament at Upper Arlington and will be at both the North Canton Hoover Holiday tournament and Brecksville in December.
Olentangy Liberty will get to see Winn and the rest of the Orange Team in February when they go to Liberty for a dual.

MeanWhile, good luck to Marenilli & Zucker this weekend. They always field a quality team and put on a quality event.

They were both at the high school and it was madness. The middle school did not start until 10: 40 with a scheduled start time of 9:30. We had to switch gyms with the high school and to top it off they charged $8.00 to get in.

Absolute joke! (ms wise)
I had to drop my son off at his school at 6:30 so he can start wrestling aftert 11:00??? We were told it was starting at 9:00. And $8 is terrible. I feel bad for the ladies asking for that $. I kind of jumped on them after they said it was for ms and hs. People wonder why wrestling isn't popular. Pay $8 to sit and wait almost 2 hrs before it begins. Who is going to come to watch if it's not your family?
The middle school tourney is a tough tough tourney. Each yr it has gotten harder with new and better teams entered. I heard from some other coaches that this has become the premiere middle school tourney only behind Philo. I really love this tourney but you can't leave these ms kids hanging like that. Decide if you want to be a big time ms or hs tourney. The facility isn't big enough to be both. Last yr they ran some of the hs first round in the main gym but at least the mats were split with both(at least you could get the rat tails out of the way). This yr it was all hs to start. HS got done around 3-3:30.

Now the goods. Amazing talent in that room! I saw OAC grade school champ out after 3 matches. This tourney was littered with OAC/Ourway grade school and ms champs and placers. I remember 3 yrs ago how this was a nice tourney now it has morphed into a beast! Aside from the LATE start the touney moved pretty well thruout the day. Bout board was visible all over the gym and brackets were updated thruout the day.

What do you think is fair to charge for "the premiere middle school tourney only behind Philo"? Your last paragraph seems to give a glowing review. Just curious as to what you think would be fair.

No more than $6 probably $5. Brackets were also at a charge which I don't have a problem paying a buck for if they are updated.
Remember most come to these as families. Mom $8 Dad $8 Sibling was $5 or 6. You got OVER $20 just to walk in the door.
How much do you think is fair?
Should it be more than high school?
Should it be more than a hs football game?

I do call it like I see though. Whether that's glowing???
Only negatives were the start and the gate.
Positives were the competition.
