You are probably correct. I am sure alot of 12 yr olds are poking fun at his name too.

I heard his Brother in law, Peter Goezinya, was distraught at the funeral.

The article didn't say, but Sgt. Palm was life long friends with a guy named Jack Meoff. Mr. Meoff never married but was always accompanied to the deceased to muscials, the ballet and they even took annual trips to Key West together.
