Big Toledo City League game friday between Whitmer and Start. Whitmer's first game with Start already having played two games coming in to it. Who do you have in this game?

Haven't seen anything from Whitmer but Start is off to 0-2 and I wasn't impressed with the team from Brooklyn that they played Friday.

I'll take Whitmer by 8 points. One advantage Start has is they have played two games already. One advantage Whitmer has is they have scouted Start twice already. Start seems to be relying way too much on Henderson, and I think Coach Smith is good enough to make the Spartans pay. We'll see.

I've already said I like this Whitmer team, so I guess rather than being a total turncoat, I'll stick with the Panthers. I'll call it Whitmer 64 Start 53. I do think that this Start team is much better than their first two performances would indicate.

Um, I apologize, Start played Canal Winchester Harvest Prep. Central Catholic played the 2nd game against the team from Brooklyn, New York.

Two big keys for this early season rivalry are, Start needs to find a second and third scoring option and does Whitmer have anyone on the defensive end that will be able to slow down Henderson?

All you need to do is shutdown one person and start folds. If whitmer gets Henderson frustrated early and his head out of the game, start is done. NOONE else from start wants to shoot besides Kopeland, and hey will probably be out with a broken nose.

I disagree though that Start has an advantage. Whitmer will win this one! Whitmer has a better inside game and better coaching. Plus N. Hayes, F. Lindsay, and D. Jones will cause all kinds of mismatches for Whitmer. Crisp (5'7") will have to guard someone or Start will be smart and sit back in a zone. If that is the case we will hit all day and our big boys down low, K. Hayes and C. Wormley will clean up the garbage! GO WHITMER! FINAL 4 TCL IN 2009/2010!
