My girlfriend (insert jokes here) is becoming a mid wife. Recently heard a story about a woman getting a stage 4 tear or as she put it a "Vaganus." Now, as if that needs explaining, has this happened to anyones baby mommas? Just wonder how this affected your life if this happened to you.

The funny thing is with your lack of intelligence, you probably have no idea what a mid wife is.

Actually I do, but the more important part of the story is that you are his girlfriend. Congrats!

lol another gay joke, that's shocking /sarcasm. You keep telling yourself you knew what it is. Just because you are a bandwagon fan of ND, doesn't mean you gain the knowledge that a real ND student would gain.

No hostility, just reminding you that you shouldn't post in any thread that requires any intelligence.

Ah I see, thanks for sharing your vast knowledge of absolutely nothing. Again, congrats on becoming a mid wife. Hopefully this will finally allow you to see a naked woman.

Your joke was a fail the first time (mainly because you didn't know what you were talking), so why do you think it would be good again? LOL you never learn your lesson do you? Of course not, it takes some type of intelligence to do that. Nice high school joke though, maybe I can come back with another one myself by saying, I already seen your mom naked enough. Can't wait for your next response. Will it be another gay joke involving CoA? I haven't seen those enough from you /sarcasm.

Edit: How about a penis joke? You seem to like the gay ones.

Happened to my nephew's wife three years ago. She was bound and determined to have an all-natural childbirth - with a 9 1/2 lb first delivery.

It was a really bad "ragged tear" - she wound up having two later surgeries to repair the damage, and in her own words was "out of commission for certain womanly functions" for over a year due to pain, the loss of tone and surgical recovery.

A healthy majority of women tear or are cut to prevent tearing. Women can massage their perineum regularly prior to childbirth to reduce those risks. Typically, a few stitches and six weeks out of action are all that is necessary, unless the tear is really, really bad.

It would be easier to convince her to let you in door #2 since it would be a part of door #1 as well. :D

Ahhh. Women use the analogy about childbirth to men...it is like trying to shit out a grapefruit. So some tearing is to be expected. At times a doctor will cut the lower vagina to accommodate a larger baby.

Everything gets back to normal over time...a larger vagina won't be the biggest challenge to having a child.

we're not talking about normal cutting which is easy to repair. We're talking about pushing and then straight up tearing through your taint right into the back door.

A woman can still have a natural child birth but have an episiotomy performed to eliminate or minimize tearing as FFT referred to.

This. As babies get bigger and bigger, virtually every woman tears or has an episiotomy today; one or the other happened for every single mother in our birthing class, and these were pretty motivated people who did everything right. A few stitches and a few weeks of recovery, and things are back to normal. You won't have sex the first few weeks, but most OBGYNs tell you not to for six weeks anyway (assuming you were even planning to in the midst of the rush after childbirth), so it isn't a big deal.
