I went last night, and am glad I did...I had 2 midterms this morning, and thought this would be something I wouldn't wanna miss. It was not as busy as mirror lake, but it was a different atmosphere. Most people were sober, which was the biggest difference lol. Singing the Star Spangled Banner, God Bless America, and "We dont give a damn for the whole fucking Taliban" were all pretty surreal (ok maybe not the last one so much lol)
Pretty happy I can say I was there...this made world news and was trending worldwide on twitter for a few hours last night. Definitely not something I will forget

I will regret not going for a long time. I saw everyone sprinting there on High Street but the roommates didn't want to go.

I was there. I live in central campus and our street was going insane. Cops blocked it off with paddy wagons and a couple kids got arrested for setting off fire works and blowing vuvuzelas which I thought was a little ridiculous. Went down to mirror lake and jumped in with room mate who had two midterms this morning but we both agreed it was well worth it. The atmosphere was contagious. One of the coolest things I have ever been a part of.
