Whewww. In the first inning today he walked 4 batters and did not allow a run. Dear Alias Sports. But he rebounded quite nicely in the second by only walking one, hitting 2 batters...and oh yeah.. one wild pitch. LOL. Not a day to really dig in against him today.

Elias. Just a tiny FYI.
Sanchez went 5 innings and didn't give up a run. Didn't get the win either but the Giants did win 2-1.

He did give up a run, but because of the wild pitch in inning #2, it was unearned.

Wild pitch should contribute toward earned runs!

I dunno. Just cause it was the pitchers fault doesnt mean it was earned. They still get a gift of a base, just as in a passed ball or an error by the pitcher in a ball in play.

Yeah, I think it is kind of goofy, but I think the scoring rule is an error on the P goes toward unearned, but WP goes toward earned.
