Very good film, and IMO Anofsky should have won Best Director. It really isn't about ballet - even though most of the plot revolves around the show, but rather it's more about transformation and evolution from naievty into adulthood.

Yep. Great film.
Though, i also believe that a movie that consisted solely of Natalie Portman playing, fully clothed, in her own piss and shit, would be a great movie. She just does it for me.

Count me in the few that didn't like the movie. My girlfriend and I thought it was extremely overrated. Portman and Kunis did a great job acting, but I thought the premise of the film was quite boring. JMO
