My cheapo dynex tv went out and im going to be buying a new tv sometime this summer. Im getting close to graduating college so im looking for a long term, nice tv.

What do you guys like? Brands, plasma, etc

^^Pretty much all the other brands get their "working parts" from one or more of these brands anyway.

This. But I'd also add Vizio to the list. They have some really decent TV's but they aren't the ones you can get for under 1000. The "High End" Vizio is about an average Samsung.
