Construction In Alabama?

With the recent tornado's ripping through the south, there is a ton of clean-up and repair work to be done. Alot of this by volunteers, alot by construction/siding/roofing etc.

Does anyone have an avenue or suggestion as too how I could get in contact with someone concerning a Church group volunteering as well as workers migrating south for a few months to help these families/businesses/communities out?

That's Bama's student newspaper twitter and they have recently asked essentially the same question you did. If someone replies to them they will spread the word. Check that out. Otherwise, maybe call the Red Cross and see if they have any info?

My fiancee's uncle was a traveling construction worker all over the south for this type of thing until he got hurt. I will have her email him tonight and ask him what the proper channels are to go through to get work.
