92,

I'm just enjoying your threads. Texas definitely caught some breaks. Very lucky to get out of there with a win.

This thread title is legit. One of the dumbest plays ever and he as more than fortunate he didn't throw that ball 5 more yards deeper or 3 yards higher.

He would've been known for that forever....and that would've been sad since he should've won teh Heisman last year.

Yeah, if that last second ran off the clock, Colt would never live it down.

I still have no idea what the heck Texas was doing in that final minute. Awful clock management and almost a terrible mistake by Colt.

He probably gave away the Heisman tonight, but he has a chance to redeem himself in the title game, most likely.

I was going nuts when they were running that play. Can't believe he or anyone else didn't realize how idiotic it was to run a play there, or at least when the time got to 10 seconds. Was completely stupid and I'm glad it's been hugely noticed how dumb it was to do that. He could have gone from being one of the most-loved QBs in Texas history to being crucified down there.

After the game he said he wasn't worried because he saw there was 15 seconds left. Uh, yeah Colt, that's called the play clock. When the ball was snapped, there was 8 seconds left on the game clock.

Unbelievable coming from a player of his experience and calibar.

Its not like they fumbled a perfect extra point snap which allowed the other team to win.

He took himself out of the Heisman in my opinion last night.

Yeah, sure, he wasn't worried. Thats why they showed his face right after he threw that pass and the clock went down to zero and he looked like he wanted to cry. Seriously, he had the look on his face of someone who had just crapped their pants. He was definitely worried.

^^^^^ You can't have more punts than TD passes & expect to win the Heisman.

I love how they review that but they never review the extra 2 seconds that run off after a field goal.

Correction: Bo Pelini gave the game to Texas. Why play for the FG when you were at the opponents 30? There was too much time left for Texas plus a TO.

Right then I said, "Texas will win this game." For once I was right.

I agree with Ingram. He had a heck of a game against the #1 D in the land.
