The teenager was bitten after trying to feed a one metre reef shark with the carcass of a fish he had just cleaned on a beach near Red Bluff, about 140km north of Carnarvon, about 9pm.
Darwin tried to get er done...

What a moron. Though I'm surprised he was able to get close, as all reef sharks vie ever encountered are scared of humans and anything bigger than them, thus they don't venture to the "deep side" of the reef.
