Did anyone catch this flick?

I did. And was disappointed.

Scary movies have been steadily on the downslide. There was one moment that was startling, and nothing else.

Saw the previews and it didn't look good to me. Maybe will get it when it comes out on DVD.

Ah I thought it was a decent flick myself.

Frankly, I thought "The Rite" was better, as far as that genre of movies goes.

My girlfriend and I went to see it, and I liked it. It wasn't great. But I liked it. I'm a big horror film fan, so it's tough to impress me. It was MUCH, much better than the other movies coming out lately (the Paranormal Activity movies, which are horrible, and The Fourth Kind, etc.). Insidious and The Collector are the only 2 movies to come out recently in this genre that I would consider adding to my horror film collection of 115+ DVD's. I already have The Collector and will consider Insidious when it comes out on DVD.

Yeah, it was definitely better than the other movies that have came out lately. I've never seen The Collector. I will have to check it out. I will also have to check out The Rite.

I went to see it again on Friday.
