Miami Hurricanes offensive lineman Seantrel Henderson is rumored to be transferring to Minnesota for family reasons, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press' Charley Walters. Henderson is the St. Paul Cretin-Derham star who had Ohio State in his top two coming out of high school before signing with Southern California. He backed out of his commitment at USC and signed with Miami after the Pac-10 school got into trouble with the NCAA.

Rumor that won't die: Former Cretin-Derham Hall offensive lineman Seantrel Henderson, who played his first season with the Miami Hurricanes last fall, considering a transfer to the Gophers for family reasons.

That said, Charley Walters is a dolt and I severely doubt Seantrel transfers home. I'd like it if he did, he'd instantly become the Gophers' starter at LT and one of their best players (he was pretty good last year at Miami, starting 9 of 12 games), but I'm not holding my breath.
