I'm surprised there hasn't been a thread on this yet. Peyton Hillis has made the final four in the cover vote tournament for this year's Madden. Along the way he's knocked off Ray Rice, Matt Ryan, and Jamaal Charles, and he's currently ahead of Aaron Rodgers.

For me, even as a big browns and Hillis fan, I just couldn't care less because I think madden sucks. Even Hillis on the game couldn't get me to buy it.

I don't like football video games in general, except NFL Blitz on the N64, because it takes too long to play a game.
I would much rather play a full game of FIFA in 10 minutes, or a game of NBA 2k11 in 20.

I think votes are being flooded by superstitious fantasy football players who dont want a Madden Curse put on their players. If Hillis gets the curse...big deal. Yeah, he had a good year, but he is the Cleveland running back...its not going to last anyway.

But then you only get like two drives per quarter max if you play at the highest difficulty. Or at least I do.

lol @ Gibby thinking everything is rigged.
Anyway, as a Browns and Hillis fan, I have been voting against him. I really do not want him to win at all. We don't need him to get the curse, nor do we need him to get big headed from a big endorsement deal.

I refuse to vote for it. I don't want Aaron Rodgers winning and getting the "Madden Curse."

I can't vote for someone I don't agree with!
That'll ruin my loyalty for A-Rodg!

Browns curse meets Madden curse. All things then righted in the universe.

Madden NFL 12 will launch on August 30, regardless of NFL lockout: http://www.joystiq.com/2011/04/13/madden-nfl-12-will-launch-on-august-30-regardless-of-nfl-lockou/
Despite the ongoing situation between the NFL and Players Association, which could ultimately mean no football this year, EA Sports president Peter Moore quelled doubts at a recent event. The situation will not affect his studio's hit football franchise's next installment, Madden NFL 12.
"We'll be shipping this year, regardless of what the labor issues are, whether they're resolved or not," Moore told a group of journalists during an EA Sports event last night in San Francisco. "Madden 12 will be shipping on August 30th 2011, regardless of what happens with the league itself." So, there you have it. You may not get to see your players hit the field in real-life this year, but you can rest assured you'll be seeing their virtual representations, right on schedule.

guess being top 5 at your own position isnt a prerequisite to be on the cover. Lol this will be the fail of the year if he ends up on the cover

It' Madden. It will sell.
In the end I don't see anyone but Vick winning anyway.

Who's better?
Peterson
Rice
Johnson
Foster
....
Those are really the only players I'd put above him.

Jamaal Charles for sure. I'd probably say even Michael Turner and MJD, even though I'm not big fans of theirs.

GTFO!! There (might) be three guys on your list I'd take over Hillis right now.

Hillis needs a few more seasons of the same type of production in order for me to say he is better than MJD and Turner. Turner wasn't on the bracket probably because his teammate Matt Ryan was already on.
Gibby's list a a complete joke though lmao.
