UConn getting to the finals helped me win my school contest and $140.
Also, in our local newspaper, I'm not going to be in the money (Top 3 only) but if Butler wins I'll finish 8th and if UConn wins I'll finish 13th out of 868 entries.

Okay, this kind of sucks. I'm a UK basketball fan. My wife is a WVU basketball fan. So, obviously for the last year I had to deal with her shit over the Elite 8 game.
So this year seems to be, you know, the revenge and all that.
And then our two money pools came down to tonight's game as my pick of UK winning it all and her pick of UConn winning it all left us as the only two with points remaining and in a winner-takes-all showdown.
Let me just get this out of the way. Fuck - repeat 8 times.

I'm in one pool of 170 people, and i entered 4 brackets, so if UConn wins I'll get 2nd and 95 dollars, but if they lose I get 3rd and 4th which totals 95 dollars, so either way I'm covered.

Of the 868 in our newspaper only 3 had UConn winning and only 10 of us had them in the finals.

I'm in three, all using same brackets... I had uconn in final four and that's it!
I won many of the first few rounds and everyone else is also done.
I won one bracket for $ 55, tied four second in one (winner takes all) and tied for 2nd in another (if total championship score is under 150 tonight) I win $ 200 for second place, not a bad year for me.
