Renteria getting the start huh. I really hope he doesn't keep flip flopping these guys all season. Pick one guy and make him the starter. Then mix in the other guy every now and then. Hard for either guy to get any kind of momentum going when your playing time comes and goes.

I like Renteria, but wasn't a fan of signing him for this very reason. They are going to feel obligated to play him

Did you know dusty baker is the reds manager. Haha. I'm with you 100%, dusty will do this all year!!! Yet will stick with someone somewhere else wayyyyy too long.

Flip flopping is good for catchers and has worked well, but SS is another matter. I thought Renteria would start maybe a game a week or so. I don't like this! Janish gets two hits and plays flawless in the field and gets two days off????

I'll be there too, which means as long as I leave by the 9th they'll win.

Some lady offered me free tickets yesterday but I had to turn them down. I live near columbus and need a little more heads but I would of loved to go.

Stubbs cost the Reds a run with his running of the bases.

I think a Brewer is going to get tossed tonight. Wood is getting calls off the corner and Marcum feels he is getting squeezed. Wouldn't be shocked if Marcum got a little chirpy next inning.

Braun hit the bag same time ball hit Votto's glove. Renteria sat back too long on the play.

Still think Wood should have started opening day, but that another story. Looking good so far though.

Thought Renteria took that grounded too casual like swami said. At least it didn't cost them.

And as I'm typing a home run goes over my head.

Like I said. I'll hopefully be there tomorrow to keep the streak alive. I just gotta get up early and help the wife get some shit done around the house.

I can't believe that Shaun Marcum was somebody who could be a "final puzzle piece" for a playoff run. Wasn't impressed at all. His stuff is very ordinary

Funny, that's exactly what I said when he gave up the first hit. Renteria and Phillips saved that from being a lot worse than it was.

That was an excellent play by Renteria.....he didn't like taking it slightly too easy versus Braun, that's really not him.
