Some things never change...sleeper and Footwedge wrong as ever. 10 Games left Cavs could get to 24 wins if they finish 10-0. I know injuries just killed this team. lol

Eye im s-m-r-t!but if they can continue doing what they've been doing recently (beating the poor-to-mediocre teams on their schedule), they could rack up enough wins to be the #7-8 seed.

"Mackey suggested Winters had no idea when the bruise occurred, and got him to acknowledge that the woman needed no treatment for injuries when she was examined. She also questioned him on whether he saw marks on her neck when he interviewed her the next day.
"She talks on how Mr. Kobe Bryant grabbed her neck and choked her," Mackey told Winters. "You looked at her neck to see?"
Winters said he had, then Mackey asked him if he saw any injuries on her neck.
"Not from the front, no," he said.
"Not a red mark?" she asked.
"That's correct," he said.
"Not a scratch?"
"That's correct."
All you need to read about in COA's link...oh and that word "alledged" and the fact the supposed "victim" dropped the criminal charges to pursue her real interest...a Civil case...

If being sure of one's thoughts were more important than the fact they are invariably dead wrong, Footwedge would be king of the world.

LMAO at you trying to defend a rapist. Tells me all I need to know about you.
I dont blame her for going the civil case route either, criminal case wont erase what he did. Might as well get some money for her pain and suffering. Not to mention the emotional damage that comes along with the incident. That will effect her the rest of her life. Glad to see you can easily brush a henious crime under the rug so easily because Kobe has a jump shot and plays for "your team".

She could have done both and not only received money, a lot more, and put him in jail...for a long time IF what she said was true. I wonder why she did not do that?
Maybe because she was lying? Didn't happen the way she claimed? But of course COA was there and knows what happened.

One's a millionare with the best Lawyers. One is a young girl who was raped and now has the media following her every move recieved hate mail from lakers fan (which you're evidently a part of, nice association fail). Her life has changed drastically. I dont blame her for wanting the story to go away and move on. Everyday she has to hear about the rape, see him on the news/courtroom etc... Thats a horrible traumatic even that she has to relive everyday while the trial is going on. I can't believe you're trying to defend Kobe and belittle the crime he commited.

If there were Kwame/Shannon Brown we were talking about, you wouldn't be defending him either.

I am sure if this was Paul Pierce/KG in the same case, skyhook would definitely defend them as well /sarcasm.

I would defend anyone accused of a crime they did not commit with the same circumstances. This is from the transcrirt of the investigation:like_that;728004 wrote:I am sure if this was Paul Pierce/KG in the same case, skyhook would definitely defend them as well /sarcasm.
"Bryant's defense lawyer Pamela Mackey asserted that Faber was taking an anti-psychotic drug for the treatment of schizophrenia at the time of the incident. Faber was hospitalized as a "danger to herself" four months before the alleged sexual assault.[10] Lindsey McKinney, who lived with the accuser, said the woman twice tried to kill herself at school by overdosing on sleeping pills. Before the alleged incident, Faber, an aspiring singer, tried out for the television show American Idol with the song "Forgive" by Rebecca Lynn Howard, but failed to advance.[11] In addition to Faber's moral character and reputation being challenged by Bryant's defense lawyer, she received death threats and hate mail.[12]
On September 1, 2004 Eagle County District Judge Terry Ruckriegle dismissed the charges against Bryant, after prosecutors spent more than $200,000 preparing for trial, because Faber informed them that she was unwilling to testify.[13]"
Not to mention she admitted to having sex with 2 other people 2 days after the alledged assault. Yeah that happens all the time with rape victims.

Yeah I should have just ignored a bandwagoner starting a troll thread. Esp one started by someone trying to defend a rapist.

Not surprised you take the rapist's side, since your bandwagoning has led to you supporting a rapist.
