Does anyone have a list of those items you can and cannot take with you on an airplane? Are you allowed to carry on prescription and even non-prescription medications? Does the liquid and aerosol rules apply to checked luggage?

Liquids 3 oz and less in both luggage and carry on. Lighters seemed to be ok when I went to Texas two weeks ago. We flew SW.
