According to ESPN, there were 192 brackets posted with VCU and Butler in the Final Four (roughly 0.01% of all brackets submitted). Of those, only 8 had UConn, UNC, VCU, and Butler), and only 2 had UConn, Kentucky, VCU, and Butler.

That's just amazing. Too bad it couldn't be UConn vs. Butler and UK/UNC vs. VCU. But, no matter what, a mid-major will be in the title game for the second straight year.

Also, a lot has been said about said about Butler losing Gordon Hayward to the NBA, but VCU also lost a lottery pick in Larry Sanders last year and are going to the Final Four.

I think Butler will win. They'll play that down-tempo offense and suck all of the life out of the ball.

From what I saw of them against Kansas they like to push the tempo of the game. Against Butler that won't happen.

I was just thinking, everyone on espn and other analysts have kept saying vcu still didn't deserve to get in. Has anyone of them ever said, maybe the committee knows more then we think they do??

Butler is making the mistake of trying to play VCU's game. They need to slow it down and play THEIR game.

If VCU has a weakness it's their rebounding. It seems as though teams been killing them on the boards all tournament.
