Hats off to all of the seniors for Ohio State. Another sweet 16 exit but Diebler played big, Lighty was solid, and there wasn't much of Lauderdale, but these guys have had great careers. Its a shame we'll never see these guys in Scarlet and Gray again.

Diebler showed doubters that he could hit big shots in big games. It's just too bad he didn't get one last opportunity. That said, this was a great group of seniors who did great things for this program and all will be missed. It's hard to believe that Diebler, Lauderdale, and Turner were in the same recruiting class as Kosta Koufas and Eric Wallace. It seems so long ago.

JD and DL are two of my favorite Buckeyes of all time. As a fellow senior, its sad to see them go. I truly will miss them.
There's something to be said about guys who stick around long enough to graduate. I loved this team.

Lighty is right up there with Ken Johnson and Scoonie for my favorite Buckeye of all time. Showed a lot of leadership and did the little things necessary to keep on winning.
I was never a huge Diebler fan (his inconsistency frustrated the hell out of me for 3 seasons), but he improved every single season on both ends, and he was one of the most consistent (and best) shooters in the country this year. He was crucial for this team's success this year. Not sure he's NBA material, but if he wants to keep playing he'll at least make a pretty nice living overseas.
Dallas knew his role and played it very well. Dude shot over 70% from the floor each of the last 3 years, and was a very good defender. Also never heard about a single issue or complaint with him regarding his reduced minutes this year.
These guys were a TEAM, which is exactly why I had no problem with Buford getting the last shot tonight. They were unselfish all season, and whoever had the open shot got the ball. Fun team to watch. Seemed like a tight group.

Im still in shock they lost.
As most know, Im not a fan of Ohio State, but I follow them based on where I grew up and live. Especially following the careers of Diebler and Buford. Kind of fun to watch them grow and mature as players.
I truly thought they would take the title this year, despite me having UNC-Kansas in the title game, lol. just wasnt meant to be, but either way, fantastic season/career.

Special group of guys and they will be missed next year. I am really happy for Diebler that he played the best basketball of his career over the past few weeks. As a senior that's what you hope for.

It's going to be very odd watching OSU basketball next year and not seeing Lighty and Deibler out there. I feel like those guys were recruited by Randy Ayers!
Let's also tip our hats to the senior Lady Bucks as well. They won three Big Ten regular season titles, three Big Ten tournament titles, and today they gave Tennessee a great run for their money. Thanks to Alison Jackson, Brittany Johnson, Sarah Shulze, and especially to four time Big Ten POY Jantel Lavender.

It sucks but they laid a great foundation for others to continue on.
I just wish it was 33 hoisting the last second heave.

Ohio State will be loaded next year if Sully and Kraft do come back.Enforcer;725541 wrote:Whats the Recruiting Class look like next year for Basketball Buckeyes? And I heard on the radio today that Sullinger is coming Back?

Craft isn't transferring. OSU should be even better next year. Sully, Buford and Craft are as good of a trio as any out there. Then Scott and the big coming in along with Thomas gives OSU an elite top 6-7.
I also expect Sibert to improve tremendously.

No way.
They'll be very good again, but they won't replace the seniors that easily.

Buckeyes will be good again next year, but IMO they won't nearly be as good next year.
