Sure they're ranked in the top 5 and Pitt is ranked, blah, blah, blah. They're ranked because they still play in the a major conference but the problem is the football in that conference is a few levels below all the other major conferences. But they get rankings because the conference gets respect and a few have good records. The memory of WVU, Louisville and Rutgers is holding the Big East up in a big way.

Pike just looks so flustered..I give the credit to the Pitt defense.

And yawn all you want--Cincy's offense is legit. They can score on any defense in the country--although against some of the better teams they're going to struggle with no running game. But I bet they'd put at least 2 scores on anyone in the country (including OSU)...the problem is, against anyone good (like in a BCS game), they'll get outscored because their defense is not legit. OSU's offensive line would destroy Cincy's rush and that's pretty bad. Also, when you have a guy like Gilyard and still have to respect all the other guys around him, you're bound to score at some point in the spread. But I bet they'd struggle to get past 14 against OSU. We cover pretty well, guarantee you we'd turn you over AT LEAST once, but our pass rush would screw that offense up all day--Heyward would have a field day on your offensive line.

Yeah, Cincy's D did what they could for several possessions but their O couldn't hold up their end of the bargain.
