Bought the fiances engagement ring in Ocho Rios a couple years ago (she picked it out and I stuck away to buy it). The jewelers down there are very willing to negotiate and the ring appraised for almost double what I paid for it.

It's 2.0 carat and I would have paid double for the same ring here.
