I picked WVU. Charles Barkley just picked Clemson on the pre-game show. Barkley also said the Big East is the most over rated conference in the country. LOL

WVU doesnt usually score too much. Getting down 10 early is going to be a real challenge.

On a national basis, I think it is too. When's the last time a Big East team won a title?

I agree with him. WVU is in no way a 5. Cinci is in no way a 6. Marquette isnt very good.

I do have UCONN and Pitt in my FF, but Pitt is a result of a cake walk. I just dont see what the BE has to offer this year that makes them a juggernot worthy of 11 teams...

WVU goes on a nice run to tie it up with a 3 right before the buzzer. Sweet.

This was a case of one team having a game under their belt, and another not playing in over a week. It just took WVU some time to get into the flow. We'll see how second half pans out....

Someone's bracket would have been trashed with a WVU loss already.

Clemson cuts the lead to 3 and they get called for a foul. WVU makes both free throws. Horrible fucking call.

1st 18 or so minute had me a bit scared. I picked WV to go on and take Kentucky out. Losing them here would have been bad. A lot of people had Clemson for the upset though. I just remember Clemson always being disappointing in the end of a season in both basketball and football.

Yeah, but you HAVE to be pleased with where the program seems to be heading...

Didn't actually watch the game, but I listened to most of it. Definitely sounded like Clemson just didn't have much left in the tank in the second half. Giving up the lead at the end of the first half was demoralizing, and then they were just too tired to match WVU's intensity in the second half.

Brownell is a good coach, though, and I feel like he has Clemson headed in the right direction.

Absolutely pumped about Brownell. He got a ton out of a so-so talented team. We get 5 new freshman next year. We will se what he can do with them.

I'm glad to see Clemson putting the Oliver Purnell days behind them. This is very good for the conference. Brownell has the Tigers playing smart, disciplined basketball built on the fundamentals.

Now I just hope N.C. State lands somebody like Sean Miller or even bigger (doubtful, even though Pack Pride fans probably think they could lure Doc Rivers away from the Celtics). With where Sidney Lowe had the N.C. State program the past five seasons, Gordon Bombay would be an upgrade. Bottom line: the ACC NEEDS teams like Clemson, N.C. State and Wake Forest, the ACC blue bloods, to be good.

Wake will, unfortunately, need to wait for two or three more years before Jeff "John Wooden" Bzdelik is no longer in town before the Demon Deacons can make noise again. IMO.
