Yea, a jumpshot isn't in question with Williams. That's one of his pros. His post game is a question mark, as is his size to be a legit 4. His ball handling is in question if he's a 3. I just don't like the thought of taking a 'tweener' at #1. Irving is a sure thing IMO.

Ok, well I know that when I watched him in the tourney I saw a disproportionate amount of his points coming from dunks or within 5 ft. from the bucket. He really didn't shoot very many 3s over the course of the season either. He shot 74 over the course of the season. I could be wrong though, I will acknowledge that. I just know that when I watched, I didn't notice him stretching the floor much.

My other point still remains though. He definitely has a PF skillset, but he is the size of a SF. A little undersized. Can he cover the top SFs in the league?

Huh? He went 5/6 from 3 against Duke in the sweet 16 and was 11/17 overall in that game. Just stop.

That was an aberration IMO. He shot 4 total in the previous two tourney games and then made 1 out of 6 in the last game. Shooting 3s isn't his game.

Lol, ok jordo. Keep spinning anyway you want to. Hrs a great 3 point shooter and it's not a weakness like you claimed.

He shot 56.8% from the 3 during the season. LOL

Admit you're wrong.

We'll see if that part of his game translates to the NBA. I already admitted that I only watched him in the tourney and wasn't overly impressed with his range.

So he shot 43.8% in his 4 tournaments games from the 3. If that's an aberration worthy of claiming him a poor outside shooter, then you don't know shit about basketball.

Admit you're wrong.

Williams isn't a shooter in my opinion. Not saying he can't shoot (he obviously can), I'm saying he isn't a shooter.

Most of the outside shots he took in the Zona games I saw were open, spotted up, set shots, which is something he won't have the luxury of as frequently in the NBA. He didn't shoot coming off of screens, off the dribble, etc., which he would need to be able to do as a 3 in the NBA.

Fact is Williams shot well from deep all season long.

If we are going to argue about his weaknesses, shooting is not one of them.

So you can pick one game out of a season of 30+ and claim all other games were an aberration? Do you know what the definition of an aberration is?

You've been ruined, just admit you're wrong and we can move on.

I didn't say he sucked, just didn't think he was as good a shooter as he is made out to be. I want to see what happens when he has a taller defender on him. Can he take him off the dribble and hit a jumper? Didn't see him do that much. What about his post game? Can he back down taller defenders?

If 56.8% from the 3 and 59.5% from the field isn't as "good a shooter as he is made out to be", I'd like you to identify who you consider a good shooter.

This should be hilarious, just admit you're wrong, this is embarrassing.

Why should I admit I am wrong? I think he is a great player, just have some questions. I have said earlier thread I thought he was a clear number 2. His height and ability to shoot contested shots against taller players is my main problem with him. Especially when his post moves consist of dunking on overwhelmed PAC 10 competition

LMAO, havent seen a beat down this bad in a while. Typical BS from Jordo, he's either a troll, and idiot, or more likely, a trolling idiot.

Who am I trolling?

Sleeper, since when does expressing doubt about whether an undersized 4 can shoot over taller players and shoot off the dribble equal calling him a "bad" shooter? He is the consensus number 2 guy. My original point was that Irving was a much safer pick
