It does exist. Does Time Warner just not offer it?

I think that is the point of this thread.

You had since the announcement of the platforms the games would be on to complain. They will promptly laugh at you for waiting until the day before the game starts to call. Your fault for not looking at it sooner. There are a lot of bars that have DirecTV, which does carry tru TV in HD.

Buckeye-Cable has a horrible HD line-up. It took them forever just to get Discovery and USA in HD. Ive given up trying to get them to carry other stations I watch in HD.

LOL--you're right---I emailed them constantly to get Discovery in HD (specifically for Dangerous Catch), and I didn't think they'd ever get it!!!

so you want them to add a channel, and subsequently raise your rates, for 1 week of basketball games, most of which are the least popular games to watch?

I get all free cable and internet from Time Warner so they would really have to screw up for me to ever complain to them.

^^^they're not bad--people just like to bash them because they're so big (but their customer service department does leave a lot to be desired)

Neighbo had free cable for 17 years.....others friends had it for years ang years...and I did for 10 pluse years too (I thought it was in my apt complex as part of rent...) then TWC came in and did a sweep in december.thedynasty1998;711724 wrote:I get all free cable and internet from Time Warner so they would really have to screw up for me to ever complain to them.
Now I have a local mom and pop company....more channels....better variety...cheaper!
but yeah..I know what ya mean....it is hard to complain when ya are getting it for freeeee

My mom down in SE Ohio doesn't even get CBS HD but does get TNT and TBS in HD from TWC. Go figure.

has she tried getting it from punching in the numbers. Something like, if CBS was channel 11, it would be 11-1 or 11-001. The dash is usually one of the buttons on the remote.

A lot of the time it is still in SD, and HD. She might just not have found the HD. Everytime I go home I have to hit the 11-001 and 13-001, 24-001 etc to get the 5 main channels in HD.

Anything is possible....Check the HD listings. Only one broadcast channel(NBC) in HD. For a while she was only offered 4 HD channels.dave;713468 wrote:she must be confused, pretty sure that's impossible

I also have in HD on 1220, it doesn't show up in the guide but TW did add it. Similar to them adding 3 extra CBS's in past years for the tourney.
