The cities all have populations of more than 75,000. The rankings are based on a city's rate for six crime categories: murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, and motor vehicle theft.

Now they've lowered the passing score for the police recruit exam. The city’s Civil Service Board and the U.S. Department of Justice have agreed on a lower passing score for the police recruit exam after it was rejected because not enough blacks passed the exam.

Sounds like a good plan to me.

I'm sending my children to Dayton Public Schools because I care about them.

They now only have to score a 58% on the 1st half to pass! That should make all Dayton residents feel safe. That's a serious grading curve and this isn't some micro econ class, it's the ability to carry a weapon or save home from burning. Maybe it's ok that not everyone passes.

And this is why there are a bunch of videos and articles for Ender to post about shitty cops.

There are many other reasons why Dayton is pathetic. Although this is so strange is definitely goes to the top of the list.
