Who is getting it? The game is awesome. If you are baseball fan, it is once again must have. The pure analog will take time to get used to but I like it so far. You can also do the classic control. You can also play the game in 3D.

Go Phillies!!!

Did you pre order it? I will probably pick up a copy tomorrow. Downloaded the demo and hitting is hard as fuck. I think with the pre order you get a month of free MLB.tv.

Edit, I don't think its possible for you to have pre ordered considering you wouldn't have it in your hand right now.

TBONE-
Yah Mauer is on it again. He signed a deal with The Show.

Karen-
Yes I did pre order it I also got the controller for free for winning a 8 man tournament at GameStop. Yes you do get a free month on MLB TV. To bad I already paid my yearly subscription.

This game is so sweet.

I haven't gotten a baseball game in years...but might be interested in picking this one up.

I'm just worried that the controls are going to make the game damn near impossible.

You can switch it to classic. You don't have to do the pure analog.

FUCK PS3 and their monopoly over this game! IT is BY FAR the best baseball game out there, and has been since its inception, imo. Just pissed I cant play it since Ive graduated college (roommate had PS3, I have XBox 360).

So is it really hard to hit using the new controls?? I picked the game up today but won't be able to play it until we get to japan and I get unpacked. Can't wait. The show is my favorite game.

Hitting will take time to get use to. I've been playing off and on all day and I'm still having a hard time getting the timing down.

The concept of it seems awesome though. Looking forward to trying it out.

Yeah its basically like using the analog stick to swing the club in Tiger Woods, except the ball is moving lol. You have to time when you coil back in your stance with the pitcher releasing the ball or you will constantly be way out on your front foot and won't have a chance. That's just from the demo, I'll make a trip out tonight to pick up the real thing.

LMAO especially if you have it set on the higher skill level. I'm doing the Road to the Show and though the first month my guy is hitting a crazy .294 with 1 homerun. I love that is a challenge and you can't just get a base hit or a homerun every time.

Make sure you check out the Weekly Challenges online.

I haven't really played too much, but what is available online? Can you play against anyone else online and are online franchises available?

Yes you can play against anyone online and online features are available...Also if you sign into online it will always have the updated rosters and you can save them if you start a Off Line Franchise. Every week they will have a Weekly Challenge. You get one try or you can buy extra tries for 99 cents. This week you are Joe Mauer and your facing CC and you have to try to get as many possible points. You get 3 out.
