Although my married adult daughter is now eligible for coverage under my plan at no cost to her until she's 26, when she uses my insurance that I and my employer pay for, the health care providers can now go after ME for anything my plan doesn't cover....NOT my adult daughter.
You would think that this would be in violation of fair credit and collection laws but apparently not. So if my daughter refuses to pay, I take the credit hit....and the collection calls.
