Looks like a blast. Are these pre-paid or how do ya do it in case of rain etc? I'd be sore by the 3rd.

Played Possum Trot a few weeks ago, it was in pretty good shape then, so it should be very nice by the time you get there. Wanted to play one of the Barefoot courses, but it was a littly pricey for us. That's a hell of alot of golf!!ZWICK 4 PREZ;701961 wrote:Saturday April 30th : Tobacco Road (favorite course)

The Monday-Friday is part of the package. They're all technically pre-paid for though b/c you have to pay with a credit card at the time of purchase to get the tee time/rate.

Most of the courses are in North Myrtle Beach. Some are in North Carolina.

Barefoot courses are overpriced if you're not staying there.

They're unfortunately talking about only playing 18 a day next year. Which will be nice to bring the price down in half, but sucks that if you want to play another 18, you'll probably be forced to play full price. Unless you play at the course you played the first 18 at and do a replay.

... Daaaaaaaaam your playing Tobacco Road and I'm stuck in the Buckeye working, I'm so jealous. I played there once and vowed to get back there.ZWICK 4 PREZ;701961 wrote:Saturday April 30th : Tobacco Road (favorite course)

I also played Tot Hill Farm on my last day in Pinehurst and really enjoyed it. It was kind of misty the moring we played and don't remember all that much other than to tell you, keep the ball in the fairway. The rough when we played was high & would almost pull the club out of your hand taking it back.
There are plenty of good holes there but #10 (play to the front of this one, as everything rolls off the back of this green and lands in the wate)r. I think 12 is also a signature hole, that you have a bump wedge into basically an island green. The rest of the course is pretty tight, lots of rocks, and a very good time.
Here is a view of hitting into # 12 and in the background is #10 green

Sunday May 1st : Waterway Hills AM Possum Trot PM - The Waterway parking lot is also the parking lot for Thee Doll House. Too bad you're playing it first! There are 3 nines there...all very representative of Myrtle Beach golf. Possum is a good golf test. I got kicked off their "world famous practice range" though....it was closed. WTF????
Monday May 2nd : Barefoot Love AM Farmstead PM - Love is overpriced. I really liked Farmstead - they have a 714 yard par 6 that starts in SC and ends in NC.
Tuesday May 3rd : Barefoot Norman AM The Pearl West PM Norman is fun to play. The Pearl is very typical Myrtle golf. Pine tree lined fairways and condos abound.[/B
Wednesday May 4th : Barefoot Fazio AM Sandpiper Bay PM Fazio is a pretty course. Never played Sandpiper.
Thursday May 5th : Barefoot Dye AM Brunwsick Plantation PM Dye is mound-city. Lots of tricked up holes. Don't count on a low score if you've never played it cuz you'd play it different the 2nd time. I really liked Brunswick. It's a lot like Farmstead.
Friday May 6th : Black Bear AM Longbay PM Black Bear is an oldie but a goodie. Not too long...bring your mid-irons and have fun. Longbay is a Jack course. No bail out areas. Tons of sand. Good course.
Saturday Tot Hill Farm (first time playing there but I've heard good things)
252 holes in 7 days.

I made comments in bold above for the courses I've played over 20 years. If you live in C-bus, you can go to the indoor dome on East Broad Street, about a mile West of I-270. You can hit it about 80 yards before it hits the walls. We used to play 36 to 45 a day, then our backs quit after 3 days. You'll have a blast. Relax at the Masters Club afterwards and enjoy the views. Lots and lots of views.

I've played all the courses except Tot Hill Farm. This is our 5th year going down and we've stayed at Barefoot Resort every year.
