Yes, I know it's sleeper. Wasn't using this one necessarily as an example. But everytime somebody says something negative about 'their' team, they get their panties in a bunch and are 'trolling'. sleepers a douche though.

Oh, it's definitely BS. I'm actually impressed with Sleeper's ability to stay in character for so long and never fall out. But that doesn't mean it doesn't cause problems. People retaliate and then normal fans get sucked into a giant shit hole.

Sleeper is great in keeping in character, but the really amazing thing is how sensitive an entire fan base is.

True. Capone proved that decisively over the past year with BR leaving the site 2-3 times, Like That and CoA being over-the-top annoying and various other reasonably intelligent fans exploding every time he "hahahaaaa'd" his way through an insult. And Sleeper's character is essentially a literate version of Capone, with the main difference being that his Cleveland/OSU fanhood is more popular among the masses. Down to the minor details like occasionally seeing more reasonable fans making the same sort of "That's him...just ignore him..." posts that us Pittsburgh fans found ourselves making due to Capone.
