When I was younger, my list sounded more exciting, but for me tonight I think I'll probably curl up on the old couch, find a good basketball game or two, visit with my Boxer Cooper, possibly work a little bit on practice stuff for Monday, and just "hang out". My more exciting activity was done this afternoon. I picked up copious doggie "droppings" from Cooper and his three Pug brothers and sisters, I filled seven holes that Cooper had dug in the yard and rehung some rabbit fence that encircles our back yard. The reason I decided to get all this work done was that the ground finally thawed enough to obtain the fill dirt I needed from the garden areas shovel by shovel! I know, how can I possibly have any more exciting activity?

I can't believe I'm actually working tonight. :( This is the wife's turn to close out the books for the week at the drugstore, so I'm home watching our grand-puppy and knocking out some cost-prediction tables. Wooohooo....

It does gets better - I have the hot tub fired up and nice bottle of wine ready for when she gets home. Wine and naked ladies make things better in a hurry.

Does the old boxing prohibition against "romantic encounters" before an event apply to distance running? :)

Stayed at home and had some Jack Stack pork burnt ends for supper, with a nice Malbec. Waiting for the stomach to settle, then a cigar.
