I think someone just moved there. Looking at possibly transferring there. Looking for anyone who has any experience other than watching the movie. Pros and Cons to living there.

There is actually alot to do in North Dakota. Here is a few.

3 hours from a Pro Town
#1 Hockey team in the Country
Hunting all the time
Alot of job opportunities
Kill all deck rats. :)

Cons-
It's cold
It's windy
It snows alot in the winter
Flooding is bad because of the Red River flowing North
Mosquitoes are the size of butterflies in the summer.

I wrestled the Nationals there 2 times in high school. The only memory I really have is the mosquito's are about the size of small falcons and try to carry people away.

Other than that it was a nice town. The college was beautiful, and the people were very friendly.

Im telling you what, I have never seen a mosquito that big in my life. Not a good place to live if you are a hemophiliac. You might just bleed out because of them. One of my buddies got bit and the welt was the size of a silver dollar.

well with the hot chicks, cold weather, and jurassic mosquitoes, North Dakota sounds about perfect.
