Think he'll land somewhere and be able to make an impact next year (assuming there is a next year)?

He'll probably land somewhere but I don't see him making much of an impact. He hasn't played a full season since 2008 and he'll be 30 by the time the season starts.

Running back shelf life has reared it's ugly head again...he's done.

Sounds like a perfect candidate for the Patriots. Seems like the type of player on life support that they can squeeze another year or two out of.

I'd say he is done, yet he does sound like a Patriots type of pick-up. Would he accept a limited (3rd down) role?

No way the patriots pick him up, he's a selfish ass who still thinks he's a teams number one. He's washed up.

Portis and Sean Taylor were my favorite redskins the last couple of years. Sucks to see portis go but probably the best
