I heard about this today. Its sad to think those individuals who could provide a first hand accounts of WWI from this country are now all deceased. My great grandfather fought in WWI and I fondly remember some of the yarns he used to spin when I was little. He died in 1995 at the age of 97.

Sad to hear that. Actually I hate to hear when ANY Veteran passes on. It still blows my mind the way Warfare was conducted WWI.

Sad to hear....I know WWII vets are dieing at a huge rate. I would recommend everyone to take advantage of hearing WWII vets speak ifyou get the chance. Been a few years but I was at a small gathering listening to war stories...well actually not even war stories it was all about the other stuff they did durin the war. Found it amazing how much they appreciated the smallest of things...like geting an orange to eat and etc
