My battery life for my mp3 player doesn't last very long. Does anyone else have a Zune and if so do you have the same problem?

What kind of Zune?

I've got one of the first gen Zunes and don't have that problem.

Is this an archived thread from 2007?
j/k

Zune players typically have had good battery life, do you have the zune HD? if so HD video watching would likely decrease the battery life significantly.

Mine is a Zune HD -- goes down faster when listening to HD radio than music. I think about 7-8 hours is what I get though from non-stop playing

Well the HD radio is using a radio tuner so should have less battery life when using that mode. What brightness is your screen on and how often do you have the screen on the change the channel/song/volume/etc?

Look under "settings" if your brightness is high try turning it down a bit. You'll likely be able to see the screen just as well and you'll see a decent bump in battery life.

I'm not sure what kind of Zune it is. I bought it off Ebay.

Well I changed my settings for the back light and now my battery isn't running down so easily. Thanks for the tip.

Ha I had an iPod at first but I went cheap and bought a shuffle. I'm generally pretty happy with my Zune. I will be especially now that the battery won't be running down so easy.
