I heard that the D1 district high school meet several swimmers got sick sunday and monday including my boss' son.
I heard it was on the news last night but I can't find a link anywhere.
My son swam in that pool friday for the D2 meet and was somewhat concerned.
Can anyone help me out with a link.

I haven't heard of anything like that from either the coaches I know that coach high school or swimmers I know in high school. I'm guessing if it was a concern they would be talking about it.
I've gone looking and I found a thread on Yappi that somewhat mentions it.
But theoretically it's not the same thing as last years NCAA because that sickness was supposedly traced back to the fact that all those people were on the same flight and attributed to that.
Some are guessing food vendors... but swimmers don't eat a lot when at the District meet and when they do it's stuff like gatorade and power bars that they bring.
It is interesting if a significant amount of kids did get sick... could always just be the flu. Who knows.

I've also just been talking to a few individuals at school. Apparently there is just a very violent 24-36 hour flu going around in the general populace.

One of my friends just had it yesterday, and when he was trying to get medicine apparently there was only one theraflu box left as it has hit hard this past weekend.

Probably one too many slide off your barstools at the Thirsty Scholar. Or too many pitchers of liquid dope, that was Wednesday nights right?

Sounds like norovirus. Seriously if one person had it coming in, it could spread like wildfire.

I'm not really into frat boys. From what I recall (and you have to take into account I haven't been to the O, but was there when it was whatever else is was called before that) Liquid Dope night was also Country Night. Hot girls in jean skirts/cowboy boots who may have had too much Liquid Dope is a pretty good combination.yobro08;689091 wrote:yup weds night dope night is great, brings out all the frat bros at the o
