The much anticipated 2011 NFL Combine is closing in, as scouts and players alike prepare for the final steps leading up to the 2011 NFL Draft. Which players can cement a top selection, and which will see their stock fall in the coming weeks?
The NFL Combine tests its participants in many different physical activities. These drills include: 40 yard dash, bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, 20 yard shuttle, 60 yard shuttle, and the 3-cone drill.
Each drill tests a player’s ability in many different aspects including straight line speed, strength, agility, change of direction, and lateral movement.
Here are some ideal target numbers for participants per position:

Players also will take a Wonderlic test which measures a player’s logical thinking and serves as cognitive analysis.
