The Browns should take a chance on him IMO. He'll come cheap.

Bob Sanders makes Chad Pennington look like Brett Favre.

Its so sad. He is healthy and wins a DPOY award (even missing a few games). Then he comes back healthy in time for the SB run and the Colts win the SB. The guy is ultra talented and is made of glass, and glass that is already cracked at that.

He has said before that he'd love to play for the Browns. The ONLY way you'd do something like this is if it's a low end, incentive laden type salary in which he has to achieve a certain amount of playing time, etc. In that case it would be low risk with a potential high reward. I do agree with others that he's basically a china doll.

^Agreed. But he has to know that is going to be the only kind of contract he'll be able to sign no matter where he goes.

If he'd be willing to accept that kind of contract I'd have no problem with the Browns signing him. He'd be the a great low risk-high reward guy

The Browns don't need to go that direction now. If they were on the verge of being good Sanders could help fill a missing piece. They need a lot more than a guy who takes up a roster spot and can't stay on the field.
