Yeah, but does it change into a Peterbilt?

I've heard that 3D without needing classes was coming, I just didn't expect to see it on a phone first. I'll buy a 3D TV once they have the technology on that scale. Phone looks cool but probably has 20 minutes of battery life.

From what I understand, it's not 3-D (three dimentional) but 3-D (Dual Core, Dual Channel, Dual Memory)

So wait, if this phone actually does have 3D (3 dimensional) recording capabilities, does that mean Favre's weiner will jump out of the phone?

I think it can record 3D, but the display is actually a sort of pseudo-3D that creates the effect with a layered screen. Could be interesting, I suppose, but I don't really have much desire to watch 3D.

It's actually supposed to be pseudo 3-D viewing. Watch this video and you'll see how the guy explains how it really looks 3-D.

Too lazy to look it up, but just out of curiousity, how does the Optimus 3D specs compare to, say, the iPhone, Storm2, and Evo?

And Samsung (debateable, perhaps). LG and Sony Erickson were late to the game, but they're two of the biggest players in the cell market. Look for some outstanding Android phones from them this year.

Motorola has had some issues with their entry level/messaging phones in the past. Since the switch to Android devices, Motorola has built up a reputation as one of the best smartphone producers. The reason why Verizon has so many Motorola devices is because the reps get hit on their commission every time there is a return or exchange due to issues with the phone. They push a lot of Motorola devices because they don't come back and kill their commission.

I know. I'm actually okay with Motorolas today, because I'm aware of this. My post was halfway saying that technology changes too quickly to say you will "never buy anything from (enter manufacturer here) because of (bad review of a past product."

Remember the RAZR, KRAZR, and SLIVR? Motorola fail.

There are still people to this day who will come into stores while I am there and tell a rep that they are eligible for an upgrade and they just want to get another RAZR. I know the RAZR had it's issues for a lot of people. But to call it a fail is way off base. The sales from that phone kept Motorola viable until they launched their first Android phone a year and a half ago.

Now the KRAZR and SLIVR...I'll give you that.

Spot on sherm, I see about 5-6 people a week still using razr's. However pretty much every entry level flip phone by motorola wasn't very good after that. Verizon does not even carry an entry level or even simple messaging device from Motorola right now.

I dunno. I also see the people still using a RAZR, but for every one of those, there were about four who came in irate about getting their RAZR replaced for the third time in five months. I used to do everything I could to steer people clear of RAZRs. The sales reps that pushed them had a LOT of upset buyers coming back in to talk to me or other CSRs about the problems they were having with the phones ... and even when you remove moisture or physical damage cases, there were WAY too many software issues. Blank screens (like the Gen1 Chocolates if you forgot to remove the plastic on the back of the slide ... remember those?), freezes, etc.

As a CSR, there was no phone I hated more than the RAZR. Partly because of how many problems per phone, and partly because of the volume of phones pushed.
