Cleveland St. point guard(Gottleib just said he was the nation's best PG) stat line vs Youngstown St. today.
41 points (11-22 FG, 5-10 3FG, 14-17 FT)
20 rebounds
9 assists
3 steals.
Not a bad game.

Nations best point guard my ass. He wouldn't average 15 points outside the Horizon League.
Still, great game.

Crystal Meth is a hell of a drug, Doug. You of all people should understand drugs. You must have been on them when you arrived at the conclusion that it would be a good thing to abscond with your teammate's American Express card while at Notre Dame.sportswizuhrd wrote:Cleveland St. point guard(Gottleib just said he was the nation's best PG) stat line vs Youngstown St. today.
The most productive assist giver in the history of Oklahoma State Cowboy basketball, by way of identity theft and embezzlement. Yeah, Doug's personal convictions are solid as an oak.

He is not the best PG in the country...but people laughed their asses off last year (in like week 3) when Bilas and Hubert Davis were discussing Jimmer Freddette as the best player in the nation. Talent is found everywhere...though Gottlieb in this case seems to be going for the shock value.
Either way, what fucking game!

great game, but IMO Gottlieb is a pathetic moron-- he called Aaron Craft "selfish" after the OSU/Wisky game yesterday, which validated my opinion of him all along-- he's a frickin' loser....sportswizuhrd;675880 wrote:Cleveland St. point guard(Gottleib just said he was the nation's best PG) stat line vs Youngstown St. today.

"After signing a national letter of intent with Notre Dame, Gottlieb was their starting point guard during the 1995-1996 college basketball season, starting all but four games. During Gottlieb's freshman year at Notre Dame, he stole credit cards from a roommate and fraudulently charged over $900 to those cards; subsequently, he was expelled from the team and eventually convicted of misdemeanor fraud."

Doug Gottlieb is a joke. He's really really hard to listen to.

This is incredibly ignorant. He's one of 10 finalists for the Cousy Award (nation's best PG). Great players do play outside of the BCS conferences you know. Cole has just improved tremendously since he started college...a bit of a late bloomer. He's gotten plenty of looks from NBA scouts this season, so his stats are hardly a product of the conference he plays in. The Horizon League is an underrated league anyway.

Exactly.
Steve Nash was once the best point guard in the country, and he wasn't BCS.

Considering I watch the Atlantic 10 every single weekend you can shut up about the great players play outside of the BCS conference schools argument.
Norris Cole is a good point guard in an average at best league, who plays against pathetic competition.
Holloway from Xavier wouldn't average over 20 points in the Big East or ACC. There, see, I can live in reality. Maybe you should too.
