I mean, the game ended up being a well played hard fought game, but everything else surrounding the game seemed like it was pretty poor didn't it? I mean the whole team photo deal w/ the Packers to the ice falling and hurting people causing 4 gates to the stadium to be closed today to the ticketed people not sitting in their seats and the national anthem/halftime debacle and the poor weather all week....

Dallas is most definitely not getting another Super Bowl. It was a mess all around.

Pretty much a disaster. You can bet that Jerry Jones will be paying that $2,400 a ticket to those 400 people and not the NFL. An unbelievable stadium with pathetic management doesn't quite cut it.

They need to book Skillet for the Halftime show next year and not these studio enhanced bands who are terrible live.

I guess I see the reason now why the NFL doesn't really spread the wealth too much when it comes to awarding the game... I mean, over the next 3 years they will have (Dalls, Indianapolis, New York/New Jersey) by 2014, but it seems as if Miami and NOLA know what they're doing

Not trying to disagree with you, just pointing another thing out...

Miami and NOLA etc have done it the most so shouldn't they know how to do it the right way....I'm sure if Dallas were to get another one things would be a lot better. Don't you think? How often do they get this type of weather (once every 20 years)

America the Beautiful was bad, the National Anthem was bad, Black Eyed Peas were bad, the Game was kind of sloppy. Joe Buck is weird.

I see your point. I guess it was kind of crazy circumstances, and yes, they should know what they're doing... I guess you would have just figured that with Jerry leading the helm he would have made sure there was somebody in position who knew what was going on to make sure things went smoothly

well, for one, the BEP's aren't music, they're studio-enhanced garbage

Can we ever get an actual band for the halftime show? You know, the marching kind.

If I were omnipotent, I would have Arcade Fire do the Superbowl halftime show next year. I saw them in Chicago at Lollapalooza, and am seeing them again in April; they are unbelievable live. Probably the best best musical experience of my life.

Everyone in my apartment laughed hysterically when they revealed it was a sketchers commercial. What a fail.

directed towards your arcade fire comment, they won't do something that isn't mainstream. You can argue that arcade fire has had commercials and what not with their music, but when it boils down to it BEP's get more people watching. It definitely sucks the big dick, but what can ya do
