From the OHSAA Website. Does this sound like the organization we have seen over the last few years??????????????
OHSAA Commitment
The Ohio High School Athletic Association is committed to serving its member schools by being the nation's premier non-profit athletic administration organization.
We will:
Provide exemplary athletic oversight through swift, fair, consistent and impartial regulatory rulings;
Operate with openness that generates trust and with strict fiscal accountability;
Provide impartial, responsive and inclusive leadership;
Conduct tournaments of nationally recognized excellence; and
Honor our ultimate purpose, which is to foster lifelong values, good citizenship, ethics and a fair-play approach to life among student-athletes while promoting safe and sporting-like athletic environments

If you're referring to the "Eligibility" thread, I would have to think it is their opinion that the following by-law, statement etc. was being violated and it was their responsibility to protect it.
Not that I agree or disagree because I have no idea what really is the truth, but that's my guess on how things went down. Does there need to be a major overhaul @ OHSAA? Possibly, but with all rulings, some will feel justice was served and at the same time, others will feel the system failed them.
"Honor our ultimate purpose, which is to foster lifelong values, good citizenship, ethics and a fair-play approach to life among student-athletes while promoting safe and sporting-like athletic environments"
They had to feel that there was sufficent evidence that at the very least the rules were being bent.

Hardly. A dishonest man got caught cheating, and he, and he alone, victimized his young sons.
